StepLite® Easy Air™ Pneumatic-Gel Ankle Walker
FLA Orthopedics has introduced the ® Easy Air™ Pneumatic-Gel Ankle Walker. The EasyAir™ design combines therapeutic gel and air in one bladder and offers exceptional support, adjustability, and comfort. severe ankle sprains, severe ankle or foot strains, lower extremity soft-tissue
injuries, and foot or ankle stress fractures and stable fractures, and it can
be used after cast removal.

Biological Rotator Cuff Repair Product
Zimmer has introduced The Zimmer® Collagen
Repair (ZCR) Patch, a biological patch for the repair of rotator
cuff injuries in the shoulder.
The ZCR Patch’s high resistance to collagenase activity and breakdown in
the body promotes increased repair stability throughout the healing process.
The Patch also offers reduced inflammatory response characteristics within the
body because of TSL’s proprietary processing technology. The Patch is flexible
and strong, can be stored at room temperature instead of requiring refrigeration,
and can be used without the need for rehydration by the surgeon.
The MIS Quad-Sparing technique involves the use of special instrumentation and a modified surgical technique to place the same, clinically proven implants used in traditional knee MIS replacement surgery, but through a much smaller incision. The goals of the Zimmer MIS Quad-Sparing TKA procedure, when compared with traditional total knee replacement surgery, include:
The ZCR Patch is a chemically cross-linked, acellular sheet of collagen/elastin
that is derived from porcine dermis. It is a durable implant that is highly resistant
to breakdown by enzymes in the body. The underlying technology was developed
by Tissue Science Laboratories of the United Kingdom.

Ankle Support
Aircast has announced the new A60 Ankle
Support, which provides a combination of effective support and protection,
comfort, and simplified application. The patent-pending design of
the A60 incorporates a stabilizer molded at a 60° angle. This
stabilizer is located on both sides of the ankle to guard against
inversion by helping to prevent rollover.
Manufactured from Breath-O-Prene® material, the A60 ensures that
the wearer stays comfortably cool and dry, while the light-weight anatomic design
easily
fits in athletic footwear without creating additional bulk. The A60 is applied
and adjusted with a single strap that securely holds it in placereplacing
time-consuming lacing and costly, repetitive taping.
The A60 Ankle Support is indicated for chronic ankle instability and is available
in 3 sizes: small, medium, and large, with left and right models.
